Lift Attendant 

THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN GIRDWOOD, ALASKA. 

Responsible for the safe operation of the chair lifts.  This summer positoin begins July and continues to September and is part time and hours run from Friday through Sunday.

Main Duties:

  • Assist guests on and off chairlifts
  • Ensure safe operation of lift
  • Be alert to possible problems
  • Provide information to riders about resort facilities and local area
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible schedules such as evenings and weekends
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Able to work outside and in inclement weather on a continual basis
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with all kinds of people, sometimes in stressful situations
  • Must be able to load and unload heavy mountain bikes from chairlifts
