We are looking for a fulltime Bookkeeper to join our team!

As a Bookkeeper supporting the Gaming Division and Hotel Vertical, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems by overseeing general accounting operations across hotel, casino, and food & beverage operations. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and audit preparation, all while bringing strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support financial and operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to hotel, casino, and F&B operations.

  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances and resolve discrepancies.

  • Record daily revenue and transaction data, ensuring location cash balances are accurate.

  • Prepare, post, and verify journal entries for revenue and other financial transactions.

  • Complete month-end close tasks, including reconciliations, accruals, capital expenditure tracking, intercompany billing, and financial reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming commission regulations.

  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.

  • Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist finance and operations teams within the Hotel Vertical and Gaming Division as needed.

  • Maintain proper documentation and recordkeeping for financial procedures.

Experience & Education

  • Experience in hotel, food & beverage, and/or casino accounting preferred.

  • Background in journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

  • Experience supporting audits with accurate documentation.

  • Knowledge of internal controls and regulatory compliance, particularly in gaming.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Technical: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time role based out of downtown Calgary Corporate office Monday to Friday. Standard office hours apply, with flexibility required around month-end and audit periods.
