In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Shift Manager.  Janitorial Attendants are responsible for creating a "picture perfect" guest experience throughout the casino; every shift.  From the entrance through to all guest areas, the Guests' first impression of cleanliness is powerful and lasting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming every guest as they walk by, making eye contact and acknowledging them
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures; but don’t forget you will occasionally have to find creative solutions in the pursuit of service excellence
  • Preparing for your shift starts with well-stocked supplies.  Ensure your vacuum, mop, and dusters are clean and in good working order
  • Resilient and looks inward for solutions when under stress; displaying a positive can-do attitude at all times
  • Empowered to develop and maintain positive working relationships and communication with every team member and to support the team to reach shared goals; working as a team to communicate and strategically clean casino areas by priority to suit an excellent guest experience

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping is an asset
  • Desire to work as a team player and establish a connection with coworkers and management to cultivate a positive atmosphere
  • Proficient in English
  • Attention to detail and pride in a quality job done well

Experience, Training, Certification and Education:

  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Must be 19+
