We are looking for a Tourism Coordinator to join our growing organization.
This role is based out of the Pomeroy Lodging Corporate office in Calgary, Alberta, and offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
As the Tourism Experience Coordinator your role will be to champion tourism through the administration of the Rural Discovery Destination Marketing Fund. The goal of the DMF is to promote tourism in locations Pomeroy Lodging does business which includes Alberta, BC and Alaska. The Tourism initiatives will be designed to develop, support and Create tourism while increasing visitors to determined destinations. You will achieve excellence by acting as a facilitator and working with Tourism partners to maximize and enhance the Tourism experiences by coordinating applications, creating strategy, executing events and direction of the Board, acting as the Board of Directors Secretary and other administrative duties. The initiatives need to be strategic, well planned, widely marketed and flawlessly executed while keeping the guest’s brand experience and brand perception front of mind. Additionally, you will work with the local Tourism operators and act as a liaison between the RDDMF and the property

Working Conditions
The Tourism Experience Coordinator will spend the majority of their time working out of the Calgary Regional Office. This position also requires some travel for brand events and Board meetings.
