Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is a world class mountain resort property featuring 408 guest rooms, 5 unique Food & Beverage outlets, conference facilities, spa and wellness centre and staff accommodations. All surrounded by untouched beauty and rugged mountain peaks in the Canadian Rockies and conveniently located one hour west of Calgary and forty five minutes south of Banff and Canmore.

We are looking for Food & Beverage Servers

We are looking for an excellent team player with 4-star characteristics and experience.  As a server in our food and beverage outlets, your main goal is to exceed guest expectations by anticipating their needs, and providing exceptional service while maximizing food & beverage revenue each and every shift.  You may be required to work in any one of our food and beverage areas.  You are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and always follow through with all tasks with a strong drive to succeed! 

Skills, Experience and Education

  • Experience serving in fine dining environment an asset
  • 1 – year minimum of serving experience
  • Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, confirming, writing, reading in English
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Works well with minimum supervision
  • Hard Working; enjoys being physically busy and active

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Running food, clearing tables, resetting tables
  • Preparing cocktails, pouring beverages
  • Portioning of condiments, wrapping take-out or to-go items
  • Stock refrigerators
  • Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and specialty coffees and tea
  • Utilizing menu knowledge
  • Providing exceptional service
  • Complete accurate billing
  • Greeting and seating guests
  • Making reservations
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop food and beverage area flooring
  • Cleaning food & beverage areas and storage areas
  • Cleaning food & beverage patio areas as required
