Your role as Nordic Spa Maintenance Supervisor is critical to delivering on this promise. In this role, you are expected to exceed guest expectations by creating “picture perfect” guest experiences. You will achieve excellence by cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout your shift in addition to operating the pools, saunas, steams rooms, pool deck and outdoor areas for safe guest use.   • Complete assigned tasks with little or no follow-up required, consistently meeting expectations for quality and timeliness 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Nordic Spa facility, including pools, saunas, steam rooms, amenities, building systems and emergency procedures 
  • Support the execution of preventative, scheduled, and reactive maintenance activities to ensure facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently 
  • Maintain all areas to ensure they remain safe, clean, and well presented 
  • Complete maintenance work orders while proactively identifying and resolving potential maintenance concerns 
  • Perform routine inspections of pool filtration system to ensure it remains in working condition 
  • Complete water testing and collection of water samples to monitor pool chemistry and adjusting as necessary to maintain operational and health and safety standards  
  • Partner effectively with all departments to support operational requirements, service excellence, safety, and an exceptional guest experience 
  • Other duties as assigned

 Experience/Passions/Education 

  • One year leadership experience within the hospitality or spa industry is preferred  
  • First Aid Certificates (including CPR) preferred 
  • Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly 
  • Passion for people and wellness 
  • Ability to focus on attention to detail, remaining professional and courteous at all times 
  • Must be highly self-motivated 
  • Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently 

    Working Conditions

    This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other stakeholders. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A significant portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to +30°C. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.
