Your role as Nordic Spa Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering on this promise. You will lead and support the Spa Attendant Team in providing exceptional quality, cleanliness, and safety across all Nordic Spa facilities. Your leadership and commitment to wellness will inspire your team to provide outstanding service while maintaining that the facility remains picture perfect. Key Focuses

  • Direct and lead the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring daily tasks are assigned, priorities communicated and standards are consistently met. 
  • Demonstrate pride in your work by leading by example and fostering a positive, engaged, and collaborative team culture that reflects Nordic Spa values. 
  • Work closely with Nordic Spa Housekeeping Manager to support departmental goals, operational excellence, guest satisfaction and overall success. 
  • Identify training and development opportunities and provide ongoing support to ensure team members maintain quality, technical, and safety standards. 
  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership by completing assigned responsibilities accurately and on time with minimal follow-up required. 
  • Maintain understanding of company policies, standards, and safety requirements, and support team adherence. 
  • Support inventory and supply management by monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs to ensure uninterrupted operations. (if applicable to the role) 
  • Promote a safe work environment by following and upholding health and safety practices and procedures. 
  • Exercise sound judgment, adaptability, and effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ensure all areas of the facility remain clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked through regular walk-throughs, proactively identifying areas of focus and maintenance concerns.  
  • Support the staff on shift including break coverage, monitoring attendance, and communicating operational staffing requirements. 
  • Provide day-to-day support and leadership to Housekeeping team members, to ensure Nordic Spa standards and expectations are consistently met. 
  • Respond to operational, guest and team incidents during your shift by promptly addressing concerns, resolving issues where appropriate, and escalating matters as necessary.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Experience/Passions/Education 

  • One year of leadership experience within the hospitality, spa or housekeeping industry is preferred 
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an preferred 
  • Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Passion for wellness and providing exceptional guest experiences 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to always remain professional and courteous 
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and excels in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and responsibilities   
  • Detail-oriented leader who can identify training opportunities, performance gaps and areas for continued team development  
  • Demonstrates professionalism, leads by example, turns challenges into positive outcomes, and embodies our Core Values 
  • Health and safety conscious, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment 
  • First Aid and CPR certification is considered an asset 


Working Conditions
 

This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other stakeholders. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A significant portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to +30°C. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.
