Your role as a Part Time Registered Massage Therapist is critical to delivering on this promise. You are responsible for providing our guests with therapeutic and personalized massage experiences that enhance their state of wellness and relaxation.   • Complete thorough consultation with every guest to review relevant health information and understand their preferences and needs before beginning treatment.  
  • Provide massage treatments and bodywork individualized to each guest’s needs.  
  • Offer homecare recommendations and highlight additional spa services or retail products that may support the guest’s wellness. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of all guest information, at all times.  
  • Monitor and maintain their treatment room and spa environment, ensuring cleanliness, organization and readiness.  
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of guests and colleagues. Immediately reporting any health or safety concerns.  
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development by staying current with massage techniques and industry best practices.

  • Graduate from an accredited School Of Massage Therapy
  • Successful completion of a 2200 hour massage therapy program 
  • Registered and remain an active member in good standing with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) 
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a Registered Massage Therapist                
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential                    
  • Demonstrated passion for guest service, health and wellness, professional ethics, and exceptional guest care.  
  • In depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and a wide range of massage modalities.           

Working Conditions:

This role supports a 365-day-a-year operation and therefore will require flexibility and availability to work a variety of shirts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. This position involves long periods of standing and physical movement. Employees in this position will be required to work in both indepependent and team settings. This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced spa environment with frequent collaboration across departments and interaction with guests and employees. This position spends a lot of time on their feet, multitasking competing priorities, dealing with employee and guest issues and leading a culture of service excellence.
