OPERATIONS COORDINATOR


THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily/weekly payroll tasks for Engineering & Housekeeping Departments
  • Ordering and tracking of all engineering supplies. Ordering (only) of Housekeeping supplies (inventory control remains in Housekeeping)
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers for invoicing.
  • Assisting and co-ordinating with departmental projects as assigned.
  • Responsible for receiving, dispatching, prioritizing and tracking Engineering work orders through new PMX System
  • Maintain the cheque book system, and accruals for both Engineering & Housekeeping Departments
  • Able to organize and input all information for a preventative maintenance program.
  • Handle all guest incoming/outgoing calls for Lost & Found and coordinate shipment of items.
  • Be the daily contact for extension “53” in house.
  • Assisting Engineering/Housekeeping staff as required.
  • Assisting other Rooms Division departments as requested by the Director of Rooms
  • Other tasks as assigned


THE KNOWLEDGE:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must have excellent typing skills
  • Computer literate in the following programs: Windows, Excel, Word, Internet
  • Knowledge of Opera an asset
  • Understanding of General Maintenance and/or previous experience in Engineering an asset
