The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent guest service skills and a proven track record to manage a retail sales team.  As a Retail Supervisor you will play a pivotal role managing the retail staff, ensuring excellent guest service, and meeting sales targets.  You will play a key part in creating a positive shopping experience for customers and contributing to the store’s success.

Job Duties:

• Lead, manage and motivate a team to provide exceptional guest service.
• Assist guests with their inquiries, concerns, and product-related questions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Merchandising of products and display aligned with our brand values.
• Oversee inventory management, receiving and inspection of inventory shipments, ensure accurate documentation and proper storage of inventory.
• Ensure retail space is clean and organized.
• Perform inventories, keep operating records, and/or prepare daily record of transactions.
• Supervise and coach team members, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and in alignment with store standards.
• Help to create work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
• Handle employee payroll and time off requests.

Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Prior experience in a retail leadership role, preferably within a resort or similar environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with both team members and guests.
• Proficiency in using retail management software and point-of-sales systems.
• Track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints, staff-related issues, inventory discrepancies, and other challenges that may arise.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory turnover, sales performance, and product demand while adhering to company standards and policies.
• Time management skills to provide training, guidance, and support to the team, promoting a productive and positive work environment.
• Allocate time efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure daily goals are achieved.
• Foster open communication within the team.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
