As a Surveillance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a small team in conducting investigations and detailed reviews of incidents in the casino and throughout. This position will create, report, and retain audio and video recordings according to BCLC policies. You are reliable, diligent, have a high level of integrity and are self-motivated and contribute positively to a team environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uses audio and video equipment to maintain continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and property
  • Identifies records documents, and reports unusual or suspicious activities
  • Identifies fraud and takes the appropriate action required by law and company policy
  • Monitors compliance and protects company assets and gaming integrity
  • Gathers and submits information for detailed reporting
  • Assists with investigations

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • Proven to be detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient, and diligent in duties and responsibilities
  • Must be self-motivated, be able to multi-task, pay great attention to detail and be well organized
  • Outstanding customer service skills, including demonstrated ability to be friendly, efficient, polite, and patient
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

Experience, Training, Certification, and Education:

  • Casino Surveillance Operator (CSO L1 & L2) is an asset
  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • 1-2 years demonstrated security/surveillance experience; gaming experience is an asset
  • Education in the study of law enforcement is an asset
