We are looking for a Banquet Attendant to join our team. This role starts at $20 per hour 

Food & Beverage Attendant

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you are instrumental in providing the highest quality of service to our guests by working alongside and supporting the front of house service team.  Whether clearing or setting tables, replenishing buffet lines or service stations, you are empowered to exceed guest expectations.

Main Duties:

  • Complete all opening/closing duties, restaurant side duties and other checklists, never leaving it for the next shift to complete
  • Develop excellent product knowledge of all menu and buffet offerings
  • Utilize your advanced communication skills to provide superior guest service, liaising effectively with both kitchen team members and leaders as required
  • Multitasking and remaining organized throughout your shift to manage multiple priorities of clearing and resetting tables, assisting with delivering food and drinks to tables, and side work
  • Ensure anything promised is delivered with expediency and accuracy

Skills/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food & beverage position is an asset
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer savvy
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize, and produce accurate work
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills required
  • Long periods of standing
  • Shift work is required; rotating based on the hours of operation from morning to afternoon to evening shifts any day of the week or weekend
  • Periods of working under pressure to serve guests quickly and efficiently
  • Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to remain calm and respectful while interacting with culinary staff and peers

Working Conditions:

This position may work long days and/or weekends to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, on your feet, managing multiple sequences and demands.
