The Role 

As Wedding & Social Events Manager for the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge you will be responsible for selling and servicing the wedding and social event market. Your entrepreneurial spirit will assist you in developing strong relationships with key industry partners and vendors. We are looking for an excellent team player with knowledge of hotel operations. Your excellent communication skills will assist in the delivery of all event information including, but not limited to, set-up, menu, room rate, room block and billing information through Banquet Event Orders, Agenda’s and other appropriate channels. 

You will be expected to execute a sales strategy that supports the overall strategic goals of the organization. Considerable emphasis will be put on prospecting, hosted FAMS, Site Tours and Tradeshow representation. The role requires resourcefulness and drive; a natural influencer that will aid our team of high performers. You will be a champion of managing and executing the Hotel’s proactive sales efforts while making business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service while delivering against key financial goals and performance metrics.
