The Role 

We are looking for an excellent team player with strong organizational skills to join our stewarding team.  Knowledge of hotel operations would be a great asset to the success of this individual.  You have a strong internal drive to succeed and can work independently to manage your busy day.  Our top candidate will have the ability to perform heavy lifting, be on their feet for long periods of time, and be able to make quick decisions while maintaining an efficient and safe workplace.  As the Night Cleaning Steward you are responsible for the cleanliness of all the kitchen areas including backspaces. 

Reporting to the Chief Steward and the Night Cleaning Supervisor, the night cleaner will be responsible for cleaning all the kitchens, the order and cleanliness of all backspaces, including waxing and striping floors, cleanliness of the kitchens, i.e. garbage, grease, walls, fridge doors, exhaust systems and hoods, ensure the garbage room is cleaned daily, responsible use of chemicals, and other duties as assigned.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have previous experience working as a cleaner, dishwasher, or steward, ideally in a similar setting, be able to work independently, and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the job is right the first time.
