As the eyes of the casino, you will ensure the security of customers, staff, and assets by maintaining continuous surveillance of gaming areas and the entire property. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Uses audio and video equipment to maintain continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and property
  • Identifies, records documents and reports unusual or suspicious activities
  • Identifies fraud and takes the appropriate action required by law and company policy
  • Monitors compliance and protect company assets and gaming integrity
  • Maintains detailed and accurate logs
  • Gathers and submits information for detailed reporting
  • Assists with investigations
  • Report to Gaming Director of Operations

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • Must be 19+
  • Proven to be detail oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient and diligent in duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be self-motivated, be able to multi task, great attention to detail and be well organized
  • Outstanding customer service skills including demonstrated ability to be friendly, efficient, polite and patient
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

Experience, Training, Certification, & Education:

  • High School Diploma GED Certification or equivalent
  • Casino Surveillance experience is an asset
  • Experience using surveillance equipment and software is an asset
  • Professional knowledge of table games is an asset
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to maintain calm and perform duties in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming licence requirements.
  • Pass gaming online courses, ART L1, ART L2, Privacy Awareness and AML.
  • Serving It Right Certificate.

Working Conditions:

  • Busy casino environment with constant loud noise from the radio
  • Ability to work in a dimmed, enclosed and controlled room and in close proximity to colleagues
  • Good close, mid-range and color vision
  • Ability to focus on a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy and is self-motivated
  • Must be able to work in a confined closed and restricted area for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work with Dust
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
