We are looking for a Kitchen Attendant to join our fast-paced kitchen team. We offer top-of-market wages and excellent perks. 

As a Kitchen Attendant, you are authorized to ensure memorable dining experiences by helping the culinary team reach its commitment to a safe, clean and efficient operation. You will achieve excellence by taking care of, cleaning and inspecting flatware, tableware, kitchen equipment and keeping all kitchen areas to a superior standard. You will also support the flow of the kitchen operations by assisting with culinary prep.

The job duties are as follows:

  • Ensure plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots & all cooking utensils are cleaned using the appropriate machinery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of stewarding kitchen areas. Remove garbage, boxes from the kitchen as needed or at a minimum at the end of the shift.
  • Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive in regards to front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests).
  • Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed 100% of the time.
  • Prepare items to meet guest requests and prepare support items as required.
  • Control waste and to work to high efficiency with food ingredients.
  • Consistently prepare ingredients, garnishes, sauces, etc. to ‘spec’.

Education & Experience:

  • Previous stewarding/dishwashing or prep cook experience an asset
  • High School Diploma
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to work in a high-paced, stressful environment and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Must be highly Health and Safety conscious dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.

Working Conditions:

This position may work long days and/or weekends to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, on your feet, managing multiple demands. This role is physical by nature and requires the applicant to be able to lift up to 50lbs. Repetitive motion and movements are essential functions of this position.
