THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN GIRDWOOD, ALASKA. 

Main Duties:

• Set up scaffolding, banners and other items required to put on all in-house events and races.
• Set up and take down race course equipment.
• Transport race course equipment.
• Assist in timing and tabulating race results.
• Maintain clean and organized storage area on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Advanced level of skiing and or snowboarding skills.
• Prior experience in previous seasons strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of ski and/or snow board equipment and racing rules.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have good customer service skills.  Must be able to assist guests of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in inclement weather on regular basis.
• Ability to lift/carry and ski with a minimum of 50 lbs. 
• Duties may require standing, walking and skiing for an extended period of time with some climbing, bending, crawling, twisting with weight.

• Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.
• Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and inclement weather conditions.
