The Role

As the Assistant Employee Experience and Residence Manager, you will responsible for overseeing all employee staff accommodations (3 residence buildings and 2 houses at the nearby Golf Course), Bear Necessities store as well as play an active role in our Employee Experience/Staff Activities program. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is excited about change, and who thrives on developing an engaged team.  The role requires strong organization and great guest service skills as well as proven effective leadership skills.  You will be responsible for managing a team of associates and will report directly to the Employee Experience and Residence Manager.  The successful candidate will coach and mentor the Employee Experience team by creating an environment of continuous learning and job fulfillment in a positive working environment in support of our employee engagement goals.  They will lead the achievement of the departments’ goals through training, motivation, and hands-on involvement.  They will also be responsible for onboarding, training and development of all new Employee Experience employees as well as creating a welcoming and safe environment for all of our residents. 

To be considered for this role, you must have at least one year of leadership experience in a similar capacity. A post-secondary degree/diploma is an asset.  Must have a valid driver’s license (class 4 preferred) with strong computer skills.  The incumbent must live onsite within the accommodations.  The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, energetic person who is creative and organized.
