The Role

As a Sales Manager for the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge you will be responsible for new business development and account management for the hotel. The position covers the corporate group segmentation primarily in the Calgary, Alberta market. You will be expected to execute a sales strategy that supports the overall strategic goals of the organization. The role requires resourcefulness and drive; a natural influencer that will aid the team of high performers. You will be a champion of managing and executing the Hotel’s proactive sales efforts while making business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service while delivering against key financial goals and performance metrics. We commit to giving you the training, tools, support and feedback required to be successful; achieving excellence is up to you. 

Based part time at the Calgary regional office and the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, the Sales Manager may be exposed to long days and travel that at times, may include weekends and holidays. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with employees, guests and other stakeholders.

In order to be successfully considered for this role you will have 3+ years’ of hotel experience, preferably within corporate segment, and the ability to travel within Alberta and out of the province.
