Job Summary: As a Food & Beverage Attendant you are instrumental in providing the highest quality of service to our guests by working alongside and supporting the front of house service team. Whether clearing or setting tables, replenishing buffet lines or service stations you are authorized to exceed guest expectations.

Some of the Food & Beverage Attendant's duties are:

  • Completes their opening/closing duties, extra side duties and other checklists; never leaving assigned tasks for the next shift to complete.
  • Knowledgeable of all buffet offerings and answering questions guests may have about the dish; understands that allergy questions will require getting specific recipe information from the kitchen.
  • Multitasking and staying organized throughout your shift is essential; must be able to maintain a sense of urgency and keep momentum flowing throughout your shift assisting with various tasks like, clearing away used tableware, sorting and stacking silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area, resetting tables for new guests, assisting with delivering food and drinks to guests and being available to fill in seamlessly as needed.
  • Seizes every spare moment of free time to take on extra duties or perform tasks unasked that will allow you to grow in your position and add value to the guest experience.
  • Actively seeking out feedback on your performance and expecting your Manager to be able to provide you with the coaching and mentoring you need to be successful and progress your career.

Skills/Experience/Education:

  • Previous food and beverage experience is an asset
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize, produce accurate work and guest service
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills required

Working Conditions: A Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for assisting servers in providing the highest quality service possible to our guests; spending most of their time on their feet, and are frequently required to respond quickly in fast paced and noisy environments. They may experience:

  • Long periods of standing and moving around the restaurant
  • Shifts work is required. Rotating based on the hours of operation from morning to afternoon to evening shifts
  • Periods of working under pressure to serve guests quickly and efficiently.
