Accountant

We are looking to hire an Accountant for our Pomeroy Lodging Corporate Office in Calgary

As an Accountant you will be responsible for executing and overseeing a broad range of full cycle accounting duties for our Casinos and Gaming businesses located in the province of British Columbia. You will produce and oversee with timeliness and accuracy, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, daily sales journals, month end entries and reporting, reporting to BCLC, variance analysis, cash flow forecast and preparing of financial statements. You will achieve excellence by maintaining accounting principles, creating and monitoring internal controls, and providing feedback on the operation(s) to senior leaders within the organization. Skills & Experience:

• CPA, CMA or CGA designation required or Post-Secondary Degree
• Experience working in a multi-location, multi-entity corporate structure with multiple business combinations and stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task, produce accurate work against hard deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Minimum 3 years experience in the field. Gaming/Lottery experience considered an asset
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills
