Summary

Join the Fort St. John (FSJ) Chances Casino Team.  FSJ is the largest city in the Northeast Region of BC, situated on the Alaska Highway; its population is 21,000.  It offers a great variety of cultural, leisure, and outdoor experiences.

In this role, you will provide excitement and entertainment to our guests under the Dealer Supervisor’s direction, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at all table games and maintaining an excellent rapport with the guests and staff.  Table Games Dealers maintain all company policies, procedures and BCLC regulations.  Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional guest service and conducting all games in a precise, efficient and secure manner
  • Work closely with Dealer Supervisors, Shift Manager and the Management team to ensure a well-run gaming floor
  • Promotes the facilities, events and services to all guests
  • Assist guests with game rules
  • Promote and maintain positive relations with all guests and staff

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Sharp mathematical skills to add and multiply numbers quickly and memorize repeated numerical combinations
  • Strong ability to follow policies, procedures and practices
  • Commitment to learning what our guest’s needs and wants are
  • Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public

Experience, Training, Certification, & Education:

  • Minimum one-year experience in a customer service role
  • Outstanding customer service & interpersonal skills
