Summary

In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to the Table games team under the Table Games Manager's direction, ensuring the supervision and mentorship of the Dealers, providing instruction, assigning duties, and evaluating performance.  Dealer Supervisors will diplomatically handle guest disputes and irregularities while ensuring an excellent guest experience and maintaining all company policies, procedures and BCLC regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise assigned areas and gaming activity to ensure the protection of casino assets, the integrity of games and compliance with BCLC regulations
  • Observe the conduct of live table games on the casino floor professionally and as a team member
  • Ensure compliance with all BCLC standard operating procedures of live table games
  • Assist guests with game rules, house rules and BCLC policies
  • Verifies cash and chip transactions, track guest play
  • Promote the player rewards program, explaining card benefits and assisting players in enrollment of the Encore Rewards Card

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience as a Cashier and Multi-Game Dealer with knowledge in dealing Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and Cash Cage Operations
  • 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including conflict resolution, initiative and decision-making.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff.

Experience, Training, Certification, & Education:

  • Outstanding Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills.
  • Sharp mathematical skills to add and multiply numbers quickly and memorize repeated numerical combinations.
  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GPEB).
