Food & Beverage Server – Full and Part-Time Opportunities

In this role, you will exceed guest expectations and maximize food & beverage revenue each shift.  You will provide your guests with efficient and friendly service while remaining focused on upholding the highest standard operationg procedures and achieving agreed performance metrics.  We will commit to giving you the training, tools, support and feeback required to be successful; achieving excellence is up to you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all opening/closing duties, restaurant side duties and other checklists, never leaving it for the next shift to complete
  • Sell the food and beverage specials, menu features and up-sell whenever possible
  • Develop excellent product knowledge
  • Utilize your advanced communication skills to provide superior guest service
  • Ensure anything promised is delivered with expediency and accuracy

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a food & beverage position is an asset
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are required in effectively taking orders and entering information into the POS system
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer savvy
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize, and produce accurate work
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills required

Experience, Training, Certification and Education:

  • Must be 19+
  • The ability to successfully obtain a creminal record check through the Gaming Policy Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Valid Serving it Right certification is an asset
