As the eyes of the casino, you will ensure the security of customers, staff, and assets by maintaining continuous surveillance of gaming areas and the entire property. You are reliable, diligent, and have a high level of integrity, are self-motivated and contribute positively to a team environment, are meticulous in all areas of your duties and work well with computers, are confident with your judgment and can clearly convey your findings in writing.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uses audio and video equipment to maintain continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and property
  • Identifies, records documents and reports unusual or suspicious activities
  • Identifies fraud and takes the appropriate action required by law and company policy
  • Monitors compliance and protect company assets and gaming integrity
  • Gathers and submits information for detailed reporting
  • Assists with investigations

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilites Required:

  • Proven to be detail oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient and diligent in duties and responsibilities
  • Must be self-motivated, be able to multi task, great attention to detail and be well organized
  • Outstanding customer service skills including demonstrated ability to be friendly, efficient, polite and patient
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

Experience, Training, Certification and Education:

  • Casino Surveillance Operator (CSO) Training Completion Certification (online course/written exam)
  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • 1-2 years demonstrated security/surveillance experience; gaming experience is an asset
  • Education in the study of law enforcement is an asset
