The Role

Working in our Employee Experience/Residence Department, you will enjoy being part of a team that creates an atmosphere that strives to exceed employee expectations by creating “picture perfect” employee experiences throughout our employee residence buildings. 80% of this role is spent cleaning.  From the residence lobby right through to the residence room, the employee’s first impression around cleanliness is a powerful and lasting one.  You are responsible to clean all public areas and some staff rooms of the residence building while surpassing quality standards. In the winter, shoveling snow to maintain safe walkways is required, while lawn mowing is required in other seasons to present well-kept residence grounds. You will be required to identify and communicate all maintenance deficiencies, respond to employee requests promptly and courteously while respecting the employee’s privacy and security.  You will also be attending the staff store which includes general cashier duties, inventory control and stocking.

The ideal candidate will possess prior cash-handling experience, along with previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.  The ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 10 lbs. repeatedly, work outdoors at times within temperature ranges of -30 to + 35 degrees, and be physically fit is required.
