The Role 

As a 1st cook, you will be an important member of a team that creates an atmosphere of supporting guest expectations, each and every shift. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food in one of our many sections of the kitchen reporting to CDP, leadership culinary member on duty.  You will be required to work in many sections of the kitchen including a la carte and banquets. 

The 1st cook will be in charge of training 2nd & 3rd cooks, following all company policies and safety and security procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, complete safety training and certifications. They will also anticipate and address guests' service needs and speak with others using clear and professional language, develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees, while always ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have 5 or more years of experience in a similar operation, completion of culinary school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
