Spa Attendant

The Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety throughout Kananaskis Nordic Spa
facilities.

Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following;
• Poses exceptional guest service with attention to detail
• Assist in the operation of all spa departments and to have knowledge of the spa’s facilities
• Maintain linen inventory to and from laundry on a scheduled basis
• Educate and direct Guests to appointments and assist them with the use of sauna, steam, Hamman,
pools, etc.
• Prepare facility for treatments according to specified guidelines
• Ensure the facility is in the highest level of cleanliness and sanitary condition at all times and report any
equipment deficiencies
• Maintain locker rooms and ensure all amenities are stocked
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Previous Spa or Hospitality experience preferred
• First Aid certificate (including CPR) preferred
• Excellent guest service, communication, organizational skills in addition to a solid work ethic with the
ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to focus on attention to detail, remaining professional and courteous at all times

Working Conditions:
Include but are not limited to;
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
• Frequent lifting and occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Working outdoors in variety of Mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -30c
to +30c
