Your role as Nordic Spa Maintenance Supervisor is critical to delivering on this promise. In this role, you are expected to exceed guest expectations by creating “picture perfect” guest experiences. You will achieve excellence by cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout your shift in addition to operating the pools, saunas, steams rooms, pool deck and outdoor areas for safe guest use. Complete assigned tasks with little or no follow-up required, consistently meeting expectations for quality and timeliness 
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Nordic Spa facility, including pools, saunas, steam rooms, amenities, building systems and emergency procedures 
Support the execution of preventative, scheduled, and reactive maintenance activities to ensure facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently 
Maintain all areas to ensure they remain safe, clean, and well presented 
Complete maintenance work orders while proactively identifying and resolving potential maintenance concerns 
Perform routine inspections of pool filtration system to ensure it remains in working condition 
Complete water testing and collection of water samples to monitor pool chemistry and adjusting as necessary to maintain operational and health and safety standards  
Partner effectively with all departments to support operational requirements, service excellence, safety, and an exceptional guest experience

 Experience/Passions/Education 

One year leadership experience within the hospitality or spa industry is preferred  
First Aid Certificates (including CPR) preferred 
Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills 
Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly 
Passion for people and wellness 
Ability to focus on attention to detail, remaining professional and courteous at all times 
Must be highly self-motivated 
Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently 
Working Conditions
This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other stakeholders. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A significant portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to +30°C. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.

Conduct water samples to test and monitor pool chemistry and make necessary adjustments to maintain our quality standards. 
Monitor the pool filtration system and complete scheduled inspections throughout shift to maintain proper operation. 
Complete washing schedules as assigned or outlined in daily checklists. 
Maintain a safe and clean pool deck by organizing furniture, clearing debris and picking up towels and robes. 
Clean and maintain all outdoor walkways, pathways, and green spaces. 
Complete maintenance checklist and address minor issues to prevent escalation; reporting and logging maintenance issues beyond scope immediately to leader. 
Champion safety protocols and ensure compliance with quality standards.  
Manage maintenance incidents during shift and escalate to a manager or supervisor when necessary.  
Contribute to a collaborative workplace, supporting community and common goals. 
Demonstrate pride in work by creating positive energy, teamwork, and fun. 
Understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.      
Exhibit exceptional follow-up and ownership of tasks with strong attention to detail.

Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position may be required to work long shifts that include late hours, weekends, and holidays. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with guests, employees, and other stakeholders. This position spends a lot of time on their feet, multitasking competing priorities, and will spend a considerable amount of their shift outdoors in all seasons.

Your role is crucial because you are pivotal in the guest's impression of quality service throughout our hotel.  From providing an efficient and friendly service to setting the stage for a personable dining experience, you will maximize food & beverage revenue while creating a lasting impression on our guests. Excellent listening and comprehension skills required 
Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations 
ProServe certification required
